Miranda is a college student who is writing a thesis proyect about haiku, with an experimental twist that her advisor doesn't understand. Communication between them is becoming more difficult because she speaks all kinds of languages (without understanding them) except for Spanish (the only one she can understand). In the middle of the stressful moment she is having, Miranda buys a leaking painting of a lake.
