Through various archival materials, I seek to delve deeper into my father's
experience of political imprisonment following the Chilean civic-military coup.
In a constant dialogue between past and present, with the compilation of his
testimony, I experience the difficulty of facing that painful past. Amid the
shadows of public history about human rights violations and the review of childhood videos, memories of a family history emerge, pushing me to reconstruct and rewrite my own story based on my father's.
